Gratitude and Thankfulness

rain in adelaide

I stepped outside, it had started to rain

I stood on the veranda and sighed with relief

We had extreme heat for several days

With bush fires in the near hills

I said a prayer of gratitude as nature was taking its course

It got me thinking:

We allow opportunities to express our gratitude to be missed

We fill our lives with business forgetting thankfulness

Thanking people for the actions and kind thoughts

Kind words that are spoken without being acknowledged

Simple actions taken for granted

Our attitude of caring can change our lives

Showing appreciation to the others

Creates gratitude compassion and understanding

Bringing love and happiness

Gratitude is the best attitude
