Life in a Lolly Jar

lolly jar

The simple lessons of life are in a lolly jar

Controlling the urge not to succumb to temptation

The self impose will is surely tested

Reducing the guilt if limitations are adhered to

Decisions have to be made

Hard ones last longer than a soft creamy one

The one wrapped in bright foil is a gamble

The sugary soft jubes are the most flavoursome

Size, shape and centres add to the decision making

As second dipping is not usually allowed

It is a time when the hierarchy is reversed with children first

An anxious wait hoping that the one you want is left

What the heck!  Nobody is looking

Life is meant to be full of joy and happiness

Take one maybe two and enjoy them.
